Vox Eminor were crowned champions of Azubu Masters Australia following a 2-0 victory over Immunity in the grand final (16-12 on de_cache, 16-07 on de_mirage).
Held at the Australian Technology Park, in Sydney, the Azubu Masters tournament, co-hosted by fnatic, featured eight of the country's strongest teams, four who were invited by the organisation and four who came from national online qualifiers.
The tournament began with the eight participants being drawn into two groups of four teams, who played against each other once. The top two sides from each group then advanced to the playoffs, which used a best-of-three format.

The semi-finals were pretty straightfoward, with Vox Eminor and Immunity easing past Qlimax Crew and Streamline, respectively, with 2-0 scorelines.
After losing the CGPL Season 2 Winter final to Immunity last month, Vox Eminor gave a much better account of themselves this time around and defeated their Australian rivals 2-0 with a 16-12 success on de_cache followed by a 16-07 win on de_mirage.
